Firstly, we hope you are all safe and well during this difficult time.

In response to concerns from our customers, we want to let you know how the current outbreak of COVID-19 is impacting Appleyard London and our operations.

Appleyard London remains open for business. We are here to help show loved ones, friends, and colleagues that you care about them and are thinking about them.

The health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide a further update if anything changes.

Our flowers

For those concerned about our stock availability, our supply has been affected in that we have a more limited range and reduced delivery dates.

However for those we import, we want to reassure you that we are not having any difficulties bringing our flowers into the country. Although passenger travel has been widely affected, cargo travel has not and as a result we are still able to import flowers from other countries where necessary.

Furthermore, currently there is no evidence to suggest that flowers and plants can carry Coronavirus. Additionally, all  members of our team are carrying out enhanced sanitation procedures to prevent the spread of the virus. We are taking care to follow all government recommendations for businesses.

Your Delivery

There are currently no restrictions on delivery from couriers and there is no indication that the government will be placing any.

If you wish to avoid contact with the driver, you can choose one of our special delivery options such as ‘leave on porch’ or ‘leave in a safe place’. Alternatively, choose from our letterbox range which can be posted through your recipient’s letterbox, avoiding all contact with the driver. If you are concerned about elderly relatives, it may be pertinent for them to leave a note on the door asking the driver to leave the item on the doorstep.

Existing Orders

If you need to make any essential changes to an order because the recipient will no longer be at the planned address due to issues arising from Coronavirus, please mention this when contacting our customer services team.

We hope this addresses any concerns that you may have about our service during this difficult time, and that you are staying safe and healthy.

If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us
